Mary Bazargan, standing left, is an active volunteer who has been an asset to the Iranian American community during her twenty-seven years in the United States, originated the foundation of Iranian American Seniors.
 

The Iranian American community, with their rich spiritual and cultural heritage, has grown very quickly with increased numbers and public visibility in their adopted land. 
 

Mary Bazargan, a successful businesswoman and founder and owner of Majestic Travel, Inc., developed Iranian American Seniors to provide various services to the senior members of this community.
 

Mary also serves as a Board Member at Large for the Montgomery County Committee for Ethnic Affairs.
 

The objects of the Committee are to:
 

• Emphasize the linguistic and cultural diversity of the population

• Identify the special needs of the ethnic community

• Promote maximum involvement of all ethnic groups  in County
   government, business and community affairs
   

Mary has been very active in identifying the needs and contributing to the
perpetuation of the cultural traditions of the Iranian American community.
