  • The Zonta International Convention held in Denver Colorado in 1978 was Mary's first International Convention.
     
  •  It was also the last she attended representing the Zonta Club of Shemiran,  because after the revolution in Iran in 1979, the Zonta clubs in Iran were disbanded.
