As a Member at Large for the Ethnic Affairs Committee, Mary has taken on improving the collection of Iranian books at the Montgomery County Library.   Enlarging this selection of Iranian books will allow both the Persian and the non-Persian communities access to more information on historical and cultural materials relating to the Iranian people.   Mary has set a goal of acquiring 500 books for this collection and is taking donations to reach that goal.
