  • At that Convention a Zonta quilt, depicting all the Zonta countries which, at the time included Iran, where Mary first joined Zonta.
     

  • Mary did her best to win the quilt raffle, which raised money for Zonta International service projects.
     

  • She bought many raffle tickets and contributed to the service projects, but she was not able to win the quilt.
